Workshop: Stingray, game engine and 3D rendering in real time. The work stream you were waiting for.
Date & place: Palacio Quintanar (Segovia), Thursday the 8th October, from 16:00h to 18:00h
Professor: Patrice Paradis
Profile: people Interested in the video game world, the animation, display and architecture. It is a render engine accessible to all, and very orientated towards artists due to his ease of use, that includes, in addition, a lot of other useful tools.
During this workshop, advanced and beginners video game developers and display artists could learn how to create games and displays of the design with Stingray. Its main architecture, which is based in datum, allows the projects being easily scaled and the easy use scripting tools allows creating the game logic without caring about your ability level. It includes a complete tool set: global illumination with Beast; reversed full-length body kinematics and retargeting technology in real time, which allows the characters interacting in a realistic way with the ambiences and with other characters, with Human IK; AI with NavMesh automatic generation, hierarchic road search and monitoring routes with Navigation; Scaleform Studio for creating powerful and immersive UI; Wwise sound engine with 3D immersion and Nvidia PhysX for complex physics simulations.
Stream works Art to engine with a powerful interoperability with 3D tools. Singray is integrated with 3ds Max, Maya and Maya LT.
Stingray is also an engine render that allows design professionals a better display of their projects and presenting their ideas in real time.
