He is the director of the City of Segovia European Film Festival (Muces), the European Film Festival of Guanajato (Mexico), the Festival Cinebral in Sobral (Brasil), and the Cinema and Litterature Festival (Fesek) in Santiago de Chile. He founded, promoted and run film clubs and other cinematographic events in different countries. As a filmmaker he has directed the documentary films ‘Burkina Faso: Dulce Corazon de Hierro’ (2010), ‘Mali: La Esperanza de la Tierra’ (2010), ‘Senegal: A mar abierto’ (2010) and ‘Micromundos’ (2014), as well as the fiction feature-length films ‘Al Revés’ (2013) and ‘Sidi Ifni es Azul’ (2014).

He has participated as a producer, screenwriter, actor and director in many projects. He has been professor of Film Theory at several universities and a film critic for publications such as ‘Informaciones’, ‘Punto y Coma’ and ‘Premier’. He has run the film production companies Ego Films and Elarte PC.
